Plus 1 is a versatile web application that serves as a platform for event planning and attendance. With its dual functionality catering to hosts and guests, Plus 1 offers a comprehensive solution for individuals seeking to organize or attend events. Whether users are looking to host an event and find attendees or seek invitations to events as guests, Plus 1 provides a seamless and dynamic user experience. Its goals and objectives include providing a user-friendly platform for hosting and attending events, increasing event participation and social connections, and enhancing event experiences by facilitating connections between hosts and guests.
Traditional event planning and attendance often lack flexibility and inclusivity. Hosts may struggle to find suitable guests, while potential attendees may face challenges in discovering events or securing invitations. Plus 1 addresses these issues by offering a platform where users can easily switch between hosting and guest roles, enhancing their event experiences and social interactions. We built an MVP with features for both hosts and guests, allowing users to switch between hosting and guest roles. The web app focuses on event discovery, matching hosts and guests, and facilitating communication between users. We incorporated the following key Features for the MVP: Home Page, Event Page, Profile Dashboard, Push Notifications and Search Engine.
